Bradford White water heaters are made in Michigan by union workers. Bradford White is only sold to plumbing contractors through plumbing supply stores. Bradford White water heaters work better in homes with well water than other tank-style water heaters. They are made with Vitraglas® tank lining with Microban®
glass lining that reduces bacteria on the tank's inner surfaces by over 80 percent. This is a great added benefit for homes with well water or carbon filtration systems. Our locally supplied Bradford White tanks are manufactured with aluminum anode rods. Aluminum anode rods eliminate the sulfur odor that often accompanies water heater replacements in homes with well water and water softeners. Bradford White water heaters receive a lot of praise online and are generally considered the best-built hot water tank. We believe this is because Bradford White is sold only to plumbing professionals. This eliminates improper installations, which are a major cause of early failures in water heaters.
